Kyanne was sitting on the bench painting a pcutre of the lake. It looked like an artists painting, but it was hers. She was wearing paint stained clothes this day, and her hair was pulled back into a tight ponytail.
She would glance out at the lake evey now and then, but did not stop... not even to change the CD she was listening to.

Elle walked along the side of the lake. A ribbed white tank top and jeans was all she wore, she held her light blue flip-flops in her hand. A soft wind blew and her hair kept getting in her face, groaning slightly she threw her hair up in a ponytail.
She came closer to a girl painting a picture of the lake, seeing as how she was somewhat involved in the arts (Drawing), it was rather good. She stopped by the girls side,"That's quite good." Elle gestured towards the painting.

Kyanne looked at her and smiled. "Thank you," she said, while she continued to paint the water. "Do I know you from somewhere? You look familliar," she said looking from her painting to the girl.

Elle tapped her chin for a moment, realization dawned on her. "You go to my school! I've seen you around campus!" She plopped herself down next to the girl and looked straight at the lake. "I'm Rachel Notting by the way, you can call me Elle if you like."
There was a brief silence and then there was a crinkling of paper, she had dug deep in her pocket for a blank piece of paper and a pencil.

"My names Kyanne Anromada," she said smiling brightly. And took her hair out of it's pony tail, and stuffed her pony tail into her pocket, and looked at the girl. "What'cha doing?" she asked watching her fetch a piece of peper, and a pencil out of her pocket.

Elle shrugged, "Nothing, I just got inspired to do a quick sketch of the lake." She furrowed her eye brows and began to draw faint outlines that were the beginning of her sketch. "When I go back to my dorm I am gonna touch it up and finalize the sketch." She flashed Kyanne a quick smile.
"So you're in none of my classes, are you a like a junior or something?" Elle asked.

"Um yes... but I didn't take art anyways," she said with her scotish accent. "My mother taught me how to paint... but I lost my touch for it..." she didn't say anymore. ~~What the heck am I doing?! I don't even know this girl, and I'm spilling my heart out to her~~ she thought to herself.

"I envy you, atleast you can pursue art without anybody badgering you night and day about it." You could tell that this was a tough subject for Elle to talk about, something in her just snapped and she pressed down on the paper so hard that she broke her pencil. "My mother thinks that art is a waste of time, I should be learning how to be a beauty queen!" She scoffed,"So basically, I don't tell her that I do art, as simple as that."

"I see," she said handing her another pencil. Her hair didn't fly wildly in the wind, it just waved nicely.
(Writers block. >_<)

"Thanks!" Elle took the pencil gratefully and continued to sketch. "Why do you think you have lost your touch for art?"

She smiled. "I don't enjoy it as much as I used to," she said sighing and looked at her painting.
